To the surprise of absolutely no one (now that Supergirl has found a new home there), the CW is already hyping up a crossover between its four DC television shows later this year. ICE CREAM FOR EVERYBODY!

Speaking ahead of the CW’s upfronts presentation today, CW chief Mark Pedowitz discussed the acquisition of Supergirl, which will run on Mondays—meaning that yes, the CW will now have a DC comics show on every night of the working week except Fridays—and said that viewers can expect the now-traditional crossover episode to be their biggest yet:

Just imagine what our superhero crossover episode is going to look like come December.

It’s not surprising news—just this morning we reported Stephen Amell’s comments about the inevitability of Kara Danvers paying a visit to Arrow—but it’s nice to get some confirmation. I can’t wait to see the cheery, happy-go-lucky Supergirl interact with everyone’s favorite CW grump Oliver Queen. It’s gonna be delightful.
