There is nothing about this VHS instructional video, titled How to Have Cybersex on the Internet, that isn't completely amazing. Describing it would only sully its perfection, so just hit play and be awed. Warning: Contains a topless (but censored) lady. After all, who the hell cybersexes with their shirt on?
The video was found by Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett, co-founders of New York's Found Footage Festival. Here's what Prueher had to say:
This is a very real instructional video that [we] dug up in a thrift store in Minnesota recently. It comes from 1997, a simpler time before sexting and SnapChat, when the secrets to cybersex could only be unlocked with a VHS how-to video. We can't decide whether it's trying to be informational or sexy but it succeeds at neither. One thing is certain: tedium has never been this topless!
